Gorgeous Dunfermline City Chambers Wedding and Big Glen Pavilion Party
Join me in celebrating Domini and Kevin, who married locally at the stunning Dunfermline City Chambers, then partied with their pals at the historic Glen Pavilion in the Dunfermline Glen.
Hi, I’m Gemma!

Sound good? Let’s do it!
Dunfermline City Chambers Wedding
The day starts with an intimate ceremony reserved for family at the French Gothic and Scots Baronial-designed Dunfermline City Chambers.
The guests arrive, and I’m not exaggerating when I say their outfits are incredible – bold colours and structured dresses. It feels as though we’ve stepped onto the set of Bridgerton, complete with a violinist setting the scene.
What a stylish bunch, making my job as the wedding content creator very easy.
I team up with a local photographer and friend of the bride, Laura Spence, to document the day, which starts with Domini taking advantage of the iconic City Chambers steps for a solo bridal shot.
Then the show begins with the kids shouting, ‘Grandad, she’s coming, and she looks amazing!’
The bridal party, dressed in autumnal red, walk down the aisle, paving the way for Domini, who is accompanied by her sister.
The couple steal several cute glances, which choke me, and I’m not the only one who is feeling emotional; Ellie is a little teary, too.
Guests listen to a poem written by a young family member, then the nearly-weds say I do, sign the register, and seal the deal with a kiss before walking back down the aisle as a newly wedded couple.

Dunfermline Wedding Photoshoot
This is when the bride really comes into her own, and shows off her organisation and time management skills, unheard of to have a wedding running to time at this stage!
The family pose on the staircase before being greeted by a huge crowd of friends waiting to see the bride, a true royal scene!
We’re also met by the family dog in a little tux scarf (stoppp) – an absolute star for the photos, thanks to the support of Wedding Buddies dog chaperone services. We then brace the dark clouds for group shots at Dunfermline Abbey, wrapping it up with a final couple shot at “the” doors just before the rain starts.

Glen Pavilion Wedding Reception
After a rare free two-hour window spent editing by the radiator at The Glen Tavern pub, I meet the wedding party at Dunfermline City Hotel, where they’re wined and dined, and now it’s time for the newlyweds and the kids to leave in style by limo!
The couple do a spin of the city as the evening guests listen to Save the Damage play while chatting at tables and forming the bar queue at the Pavilion.
The limo draws up to a rainbow backdrop, and Domini and Kevin kick off the party to ‘Does Your Mama Know’ by Abba.
I grab Domini’s pals to film the ‘Jump Around’ sunglasses TikTok trend while the couple work the room, and younger guests play with games and pose for the Polaroid camera ring.

After a quick faux cake cutting for the camera, the couple share their official first dance to UB40’s rendition of ‘(I Can’t Help) Falling in Love With You’.
It ends with a group circle featuring close family before everyone is up on their feet for the Gay Gordons ceilidh played by the Klones.
I stick around, capturing the dance floor moves for a couple of songs, then the natural lull indicates it’s time for me to head home and start the culling process.
The next day, I lightly edit images, upload video clips, and curate a highlights reel, party reel, and TikTok trend video, which is sent digitally by 16:51.
Domini publishes the reel, making it official, and me, one very happy wedding content creator!
