An Out of This World Dynamic Earth Edinburgh Wedding
Join me in celebrating Emma and Brad, who got hitched during a space-themed wedding on May the Fourth at Dynamic Earth in Holyrood Park.
Hi, I’m Gemma, an Edinburgh wedding content creator based in Fife who travels around Scotland documenting fun couples with my iPhone.
Check out my portfolio here.
Dynamic Earth Wedding
The morning kicks off with detail shots at Dynamic Earth, and there are many, as Brad has put so much effort into every inch of the day, and a walkthrough with the venue’s wedding coordinator.
I chat with the photographer (Ross), then head to an Airbnb across the road from the venue to check in on the getting-ready process.
To my delight, it has an epic view of Dynamic Earth, so I grab some content out of the living room window.
My brain is always on “document content” mode during weddings, ha!
While I make my introductions to the couple, guests start to fill the Ozone Room back at the venue.
The ceremony starts after the couple and their chosen people walk through the Tardis-like tunnel.
Officiant Gillian Monahan stands at the bottom of the aisle and shares the story of how this cute pair progressed their long-term friendship to a relationship.
This fantastic storyteller had guests in tears and laughter, and the couple tied the knot officially with a hand-fasting ceremony, exchange of vows and rings, and a high five.

Salisbury Crags Photography and Reception
Taking advantage of the natural landscape that backs onto Dynamic Earth, the wedding portrait photography takes place in front of Salisbury Crags while guests enjoy drinks in the Stratosphere.
I pull Emma for a creative shot underneath the globe before the party moves downstairs to the Biosphere for speeches and dinner, surrounded by the crafty details put together by Brad.
Then it’s upstairs for a thundering surprise; the couples’ friends from the Beltane Festival play an emotional set on drums and shakers.
Guests are invited to tour the museum, while the Dynamic Earth team change the Biosphere over for the evening reception, where Emma and Brad cut their celestial-themed cake, with lights to boot, and kick the festivities off with a first dance.
That’s my cue to hop on the train back to Fife, accompanied by a killer sunset.
The newlyweds’ media package of iPhone images, video snippets and ready-to-post reels is delivered via email the next day at 16:12!

Wedding Content Creator Review
“10s across the board! Gemma was so lovely and very professional throughout the whole day!
She even managed to expertly blend into the background that at times I forgot she was there until she mentioned a specific pose idea for some additional content.
Highly recommend her, a great talent and a lovely person”
Brad
“Gemma did content creation for our wedding and she was amazing throughout. She was kind and courteous during our consultation, she made sure she focused on what we wanted to be captured.
She was extraordinary on the day, she captured some many amazing memories and had ideas that we never thought of. She fit right in on the big day and felt like one of the wedding party. She’s extremely organised and got everyone together without fuss.
I couldn’t recommend her enough, she got some of the best and most candid moments on the day that we will cherish forever.”
Emma
