Lively Edinburgh Wedding Party at Brewhemia and Marlins Wynd
Join me in congratulating Rebecca and Jake, who celebrated a two-day wedding, tying the knot at a small city ceremony, then a lively party the next day at two unique Edinburgh wedding venues.
The bride’s content brief was “feral fun”, and she states I “smashed” it!

Sound good? Let’s do it!
Edinburgh Royal Mile Photoshoot
I meet with the couple at their apartment and spend some time with the bride’s wedding party as they put the finishing touches to their hair and make-up.
Dressed and the hair of the dog starting to work its magic, we head to Brewhemia via the Royal Mile, where Rebecca and Jake were met with lots of cheers and shouts of congratulations.
A tourist offers to take their Polaroid photo, stealing my thing, ha, and we grab a few city shots, which show off Rebecca’s super cute hair ribbon with the official wedding date printed on it.

Welcome and Warm Up Drinks at Brewhemia
The couple are welcomed at Brewhemia by family and friends for drinks, hugs, catch-up chats, and photos, with an unfortunate spill sending a bridesmaid scrambling to tackle it with a stain pen.

Tearing Up the Dance Floor at Marlin’s Wynd
Next, it’s on to Marlin’s Wynd, where we sneak a few shots in before the couple go to greet their guests and fill their guest book with cute Polaroid images.
The first dance is a surprise to all, starting as a slow, almost acoustic version of N-Trance’s ‘Set You Free’ (maybe sung by Sam Ryder? Let me know) that builds up into the dance anthem that gets everyone bouncing.
And the energy keeps on rising, with a banging DJ set from DJL Entertainment and a sing-along with Liam Allison.
I leave around 21:30, hop on the train and start to cull the hundreds of images and video clips captured throughout the afternoon and evening, giving me a clean slate to get creative the next morning.
All of the media content is sent to the newlyweds at 15:52.
The newlyweds respond as soon as they touch down in Majorca and post their party reel the very next day, making it official!
