A Fairytale Oswald House Wedding, Kirkcaldy
Join me in celebrating Dawn and Stuart, who tied the knot under the fairytale tree at Oswald House in Kirkcaldy, Fife. This stunning wedding was fueled by high energy and emotions, with so much love and fun to capture.
Hi! I’m Gemma, a Fife wedding content creator based in Dunfermline who documents your big day through iPhone photos, videos, and ready-to-post reels.

Oswald House Wedding Day
The morning starts with detail shots around the 18th-century Georgian estate and a quick check in with the photographer and videographers, and the bride, who was getting ready in the bridal suite with her bridesmaids.
If you’re not familiar with this exclusive use wedding venue in Fife, the house is located in Dunnikier Park and has 15 rooms for hire, plus access to multiple communal spaces and photo spots around the gardens.
The media team assemble and begins shooting the morning routine, the dress, shoes, flat lay, and getting-ready process.
Emotions are high, the bride needs a moment, her best friend steps in and offers encouragement, and then it’s showtime!

The dress is fitted, final touches are settled, the bridesmaids are treated to a first look, then it’s dad’s turn before the couple make their way down the stairs to the outdoor ceremony.
Dawn is met by the wedding officiant, TJ Thomson, who I later have the privilege of listening to again in Glasgow at this Cottiers wedding.
The pro reassures the bride, and then it’s all go.
The bridesmaids and groomsmen walk down the garden aisle to Rico The Unknown playing piano, before Dawn makes Stewart do a double-take, having to look away to catch a breath.
I’m welling up as I type this, it’s such an honour to capture these scenes.
The wedding is delivered with lots of humour and a sensitive note of remembrance for those who can’t be there.
Dawn dances in the aisle while holding the hands of her new husband.
There’s a wee kiss, signing the register, then it’s back up the aisle for a glass of fizz and a confetti tunnel.
The one thing no one tells you about a confetti photoshoot is that confetti goes everywhere, in hair and down dresses, so ladies, check your cleavage after the run!

The afternoon progresses into the official group photos, then more intimate couples shots before the newlyweds are released to mingle with their guests.
The afternoon merges into early evening in a blur of speeches and dining, with the desserts being interrupted by one of the wait staff, who falls over.
Well, kind of, it’s not a real fall, which becomes evident when the server pulls out a microphone and starts belting out Queen.
The next hour is an eruption of song, dance, and the conga.
I was privy to the surprise that the bride had organised, but that doesn’t mean I wasn’t nervous about missing it!
Happy to share that I nailed it, catching the fall on one phone and the groom’s priceless face on another, which you can watch here.
Another singing style waiting company also feature in this Glasgow wedding.

After dinner, the room is switched over for the evening guests’ arrival.
We steal Dawn and Stuart for a golden hour photoshoot featuring a well-executed dip and the death of the videographer’s drone.
Then it’s onto the cake cutting, first dance, and a couple of songs before the dance floor takes a natural lull, and I head home to start the culling and editing process.
Dawn and Stuart receive their wedding media, which includes hundreds of lightly edited iPhone images, video snippets with sound, and ready-to-post reels/TikToks at 14:51 the following day.

Wedding Content Creator Review
“We were absolutely blown away by you, Gemma! From the very first message, your attention to detail and super speedy responses were incredible. You took the time to learn everything about our day, and honestly, you captured it all perfectly — even the smallest moments.
One of our favourites? Stuart’s reaction to the surprise singing waiters — HOW you managed to capture that on two phones at once, we’ll never know!
What made it all so special was how seamlessly you blended in — it never felt like we were being filmed. You felt like one of the bridal party, working so naturally alongside our other suppliers. You’re an absolute gem (no pun intended!)
You promised our content within 24 hours, and you absolutely delivered — we were honestly amazed! The reels, the stills… everything was just incredible to relive so soon after the day.
Since then, your kindness and professionalism have continued. You’ve answered every question and gone above and beyond — we’ll be forever grateful.
To anyone thinking about hiring a content creator — do yourself a favour and choose Gemma at @letsdoitcreative.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”
