Whimsical Styled Shoot at Teasses Estate, Fife
Join me on a wedding elopement styled shoot at Teasses Estate in Fife. This exclusive-use venue near St Andrews serves as the backdrop to our Pride and Prejudice-inspired story dreamed up by Aberdeenshire photographer Alyssa Kaye and organised by Sarah from Swoon Elopements. I join the team of creatives to capture iPhone photography, video snippets, and to create ready-to-post reels delivered the next day.
Hi, I’m Gemma, a wedding content creator based in Fife who travels around Scotland documenting fun couples with my iPhone.
Check out my portfolio here.
Teasses Estate Wedding Shoot
The day starts at one of the estate’s cottages, where the team assembles and make-up artist, Paula Beattie, gets to work transforming our bride model, Sandie, into a porcelain beauty from the Austen era.
The media team and Sarah take a walk around the grounds and lochan, sourcing the best locations for the ceremony and celebratory picnic.
Back at the cottage, the photography team, Kaye Godfrey, Joni Mairi, and Alyssa, set up the flat lay scenes, three in total featuring jewellery by Joanna & Grace and my antique engagement ring from my great auntie Edith, such a thrill to see my ring photographed by these legends!
Then everyone fuels up on lunch among the estate’s impressive collection of whisky bottles and chat about their hometowns and future plans.
Sanjo dresses in tweed trousers and a waistcoat from Walker Slater for a relaxed look, while Sanie wears a lace dress from Those Were The Days Bridal.
The couple act out a few scenes, delicately fastening jewellery, and posing for a few mirror shots before the full team leaves for the estate’s lochan.
Here, the couple recite vows, using vintage books from the cottage to complete the look before the couple do a stroll, with a few side glances while Kate shouts, “frolic”.
The picnic, which features a duck-shaped bowl with grapes and the trending Lambeth heart-shaped cake made by Gumblossom Bakes, is waiting for us by a gate and a big tree; an idyllic countryside scene.
The couple pour drinks, cut the cake, and canoodle for the cameras while Priscilla and Memphis, Levi the florist from Studio Mazzolino’s cute dogs play in the background.
It’s not all glam during a styled wedding shoot!
Over the field from the fence, the team shoot Sandie and Sanjo running freely, embracing, dipping, and doing a lift.
Then it’s time for hydration back at the cottage in preparation for the estate’s gem of a walled garden!

Teasses Estate Walled Garden Photoshoot
This area is where most private weddings take place, utilising the flower beds and Victorian glasshouse for the ceremony and photoshoot.
Sanjo and Sandie do portraits by the flower beds and dance, framed by the wall entry, before heading into the glass building for shots through the window.
You just have to see the results of this!
Then it’s time for undressing, packing up, a celebratory selfie, and a slice of cake, which is not just cute, it tastes delicious.
